Related Services Log Notice
The District maintains related service logs that document the type and number of minutes of related service administered under a student's individualized education program (IEP). These related service logs will be available to parents/guardians at a student's annual review IEP meeting. Parents/guardians may also request a copy of any IEP related service log maintained for their child. Please direct any requests for a copy of a related service log for your child to the building principal.
Sex Offender Registry
State law requires that all school districts provide parents/guardians with information about sex offenders and violent offenders against youth. The Illinois State Police provides an online listing of sex offenders required to register in the State of Illinois (
http://www.isp.state.il.us/sor/ ) and maintains the Illinois Statewide Child Murderer and Violent Offender Against Youth Registry (
http://www.isp.state.il.us/cmvo ). The database is updated daily and allows searching by name, city, county, zip code, compliance status, or any combination thereof.
Homeless Education Assistance Act of 2001
The McKinney-Vento Act is designed to address the problems that homeless children and youth have
faced while enrolling, attending, and succeeding in school. Under this program, schools must ensure that
each homeless child has equal access to the same free, appropriate public education, including a public
preschool education as other children. The homeless liaison may be contacted through the school office.
For more information contact Lisa Reed, Homeless Liaison, 618-683-4011.
